Mixtape #4

Photobucket
Spinnin' solo for number 4. Hopefully when AdMad
comes back from the states (with his pile of new
stuff) we are going to prepare number 5 together.
This mix is kind of a collection of my favorite
rare, old, dusty pieces of vinyl i've discovered the
past 2 or 3 years. Some psych, some hiphop,
some grooves, some kraut... hope you enjoy it..

Retards!!!

And still they don't seem to stop to amaze me. Sometimes the level of stupidity of some people is leaving me open-mouthed.. especially when they keep places in big companies where young open-minded people should work. The reason for this post is the incident with the new Doves album posted by my bro Kazama yesterday. As you can read on an earlier post, it has been deleted with a little threatening warning on his inbox. Jesus.. some people simply cannot wake up and smell the coffee. I mean, i can expect that kind of behaviour from labels such as Stones Throw and other independent labels who think it is wise to waste days and salaries in deleting rapidshare links to their catalogue. But EMI?!? These guys are huge! They still haven't realize that they simply have to fire all these Harvard-Finance-degreed motherfuckers?? They are a tumor for the industry. Really, i don't understand why it is hard to get it...CDs ARE NOT THE PRODUCT!!!!! You can clearly see that from the CD sales the past 3 years. You are NOT losing money when people are "illegally" downloading your music!! You are losing money when you pay salaries to people chasing blogs and suing torrents companies. If someone visited our blog to download the Doves album and he finds the post deleted HE IS SIMPLY GONNA GET SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! He is DEFINITELY not going to buy it. You DEFINITELY can't stop that. You chased Napster..LimeWire appeared. You chased LimeWire..hallelujah Torrents and rapidshare!! It is simply a game you can not win. "New Media", new products.. ring any bells?? And it is funny... instead of being grateful to someone who is promoting your artists and (if you are not a complete moron) you can take advantage of this promotion for your own profit, you threat him and delete his posts.. Unbelievable... Anyway, one thing they CAN NOT do though is to ban the freedom of thought and speech..therefore: People!! Boycott EMIs' releases, don't buy the Doves album (its shit anyway.. the albums they did on heavenly where much better). That way you maybe force them into the new age...
